Day of Craziness!!!

It started out good. The sun was shining. There was only a little bit of fog. I went and shot a round a golf and hit two pars! (never done before, which is sad, considering where I live!) Then it all went down hill.
  • I came home and was late to church! Packed my bags and headed out to get my toes done.
  • I showed up at the same time two other ladies did. I had to wait. The whole time she was doing my toes she seemed like she was going super slow. She finished at 11 and I rushed out of there, because I had an 11:30 appointment in Bellevue.
  • Rushed to Bellevue, only to hit traffic.
  • Pulled into Bell Square to drive around the parking lot forever looking for a parking spot.
  • Found one, but hit the wall pulling in.
  • Grabbed my stuff (dress, camera bag, clothes bag) walked into the mall in my sweats, sweatshirt, and pedicure flip flops (which no one would wear in bellevue to the mall!) and around the mall only to find out I was at the wrong mall according to the Mall information kiosk.
  • Called Tami, but found her phone was off. Called her sister and she could only text... Had no clue how to get to the other mall until her sister called me and gave me directions.
  • Went back outside, got into my car, arrived at the correct place only a half hour late. Mind you my appointment was only a half hour long.
  • Found a lady to talk to about it, she knew nothing. She pushed me off onto another lady, who pushed me off to another lady. Finally found some of the party people who knew a little about what was going on.
  • Finally got to relax and sat in the sauna and took a Swiss shower as they got my appointments settled.
  • Had a wonderful lunch and then got my nails done.
  • Came back showered and got all dolled up for rehearsal dinner. Left the locker room, got validated and went to retrive my car. Still had to pay for parking. :(
  • As I was driving realized I wanted to put my ring back on, but couldn't find it! It was lost.
  • Turned back around. Looked for some free parking in downtown Bellevue, there is none. Finally just went back into the old parking lot. Went back to the salon, looked all over. Didn't find anything.
  • Was super sad, until my new best friend walked out of the locker room with it. It had fallen on the floor. Got validated again and then finally got to go to dinner that started at 5:30 in Seattle and I was in Bellevue at 5:30. Was a little late, but made it before the bride.
  • Sat with a group of friends and then was asked to move and sit with the Ya-Yas Had an amazing dinner and great conversation with them. Whose down for visiting New Orleans with me? They invited and have free places to stay!!!
  • Yet again got validated and still had to pay for parking, but then was off to the Melting Pot to celebrate Beckers Birthday.
  • Found the restaurant and drove down below into a crazy small garage to park.
  • Parked the car, came up and couldn't find the resturant.
  • Got directions from another resturant and then found the girls! Thank God! Cause at this point I was so done.
  • Had some chocolate and then went to another place for a drink.
  • When I came back to get my car, the garage was locked and there was no way in. And then I saw the sign NO PARKING 4:30pm- 3am. But there was also a sign above my car that said Reserved for Restaurant from 4pm- 1am. It was 12ish. I didn't know how I was going to get my car. Went back to the restaurant, a lady said her manager had the keys and would let me in. Thank goodness!!!!
  • The manager came out with a new set of keys for someone else's car...because apparently I had parked in valet. Ummm, really!?!? The valet guys just let me drive by and didn't say anything...I even talked to them when I came up and they didn't say anything.
I was so happy to just get in my car and go home, you would not believe it. I kept thinking the day couldn't get any worse and then it did. It was supposed to be a fun and relaxing day with my bestie before she got married and all I wanted to do was cry and not for the right reasons.
At some point in the day I did realize life could be a whole lot worse, which made me feel a little bit better...but really, come on!

So when I woke up today over an hour early and after having only 5 and half hours of sleep, I thought to myself, It's a new day and really it can't be worse than yesterday.

OMGoodness! In my life, I've learned to NEVER say that phrase, "Could it get any worse?" Cause when I did, it got WORSE! I've learned to reassess my thinking and say, "It'll all work out in the end" and it ALWAYS has ;)

Through the midst of your exasperating day, you were able to accomplish everything on your agenda and end it on a good note-at home in bed lol :) Here's to hoping your days are always filled with endings on a good note :D Love you cousin!
