They were almost identical to my old ones, but why buy something different if I knew that these worked for me. Then I took them to South Bend, Indiana and only one shoe came back (the right one) So I was off to look for them again.
I looked high and low at every Costco I could and didn't find them until this weekend, but when I opened the box, they looked a little used... so much so that the inside label was kind of worn off. I was a little miffed at buying "new" shoes with a label almost worn off, but then I looked at the price. Six weeks ago, I had paid $32 for them and now they were only $19. I slightly wondered if the 5 pairs they had had all been returned and that is why they were selling at $19, but I bought them anyway. I knew they worked, so now technically my shoes cost $51, which is still less than I would have paid at Fred Meyer for just one pair.
