Finding Solace

This morning after I woke up, I decided I needed to find some solace in my life, so I headed to church.
Although there were some tears throughout the mass, I also was filled with laughter after a reflection that was given. The man giving the reflection spoke of a lady who worked as a
telephone operator that received many calls each day. A call she received daily, was one that asked her what time it was. Each day she would set her watch to the sound of the whistle at the factory and so she could confidently answer the caller. One day her watch broke, therefore she was waiting for the whistle of the factory to sound, so she would know what time it was to tell the caller. When the caller called and she had not heard the whistle, she had to admit to the caller that her watch had broken and she had been waiting for the whistle to sound, so she would know what time it was. The caller then told her that they were the factory calling to see if it was time to blow the whistle.
He then stated that we are all currently concerned with the cost of education but what is the cost of ignorance.
I left this morning feeling better and finding some solace...now it's off to see my bff: the pool! Thank goodness the sun is out!
