Purse Lady!

Many of my friends are obsessed with purses and not just any purse, but designer purses like Coach, DB, Kate Spade, Vera Bradley....anything with a name they will buy. Me, I'd rather spend my money on trips! (long vacation type of trips!-hee! hee!)
After proclaiming not to be a purse lady for many years, I looked in my closet the other day and was astounded to find 8 purses in my closet! I couldn't believe it! But in actuality, yes the purses were mine, but I hadn't bought any of them. Some were presents, some were hand me downs from my sister, while others just showed up at my house (how I don't know!)
But in the past two weeks, I have brought home three, count them three new bags! Now they are all not purses, buuuuuut they are are bags that some crazy ladies could use as purses.

The front bag from American Eagle is actually the only one that I will use as a purse. It was purchased at the thrift store, which was having 75% off, so it only cost me $1.50. Yeah Me! It's just the right size to carry all my stuff and nothing else.
The green bag in the back also bought at a thrift store is going to be my new gym bag. It's very stylish and will still hold my clothes, towel, shoes, and a few other essential when going to the gym. (It's from Clinque...who knows what they used it for, hopefully not makeup, because that is a whole heck of a lot of make-up.)
The flower bag, yes another thrift store purchase, is going to be my one-night over-night bag. It's super cute and guess what, the flowers actually go on the inside and the outside is a orangeish color. It's cool both ways. The only problem is that it really isn't big enough to be a weekend away bag, especially in the winter because my clothes are big, but it will work if I pair it with a couple of bags.

-i bought the bags in the back today on a marathon thrift store shopping trip with tanya. i had a great time with her and the girls, although I did most of the purchasing. i got those bags, a few games for my classroom, a new sweater, a book, and a sweater for a friend's party that happens in the winter. i also saw a sweater dresser that i'm thinking I might put in my office, but I need to figure out how much it costs and what I would put in it. if it's just going to hold junk I don't want it!
