Performances

We've been performing the past three weekends out of four. Three completely different shows. All new songs for each show. Two shows with kahiko and auana and one show with just auana. We've been putting in long hours, extra practices, and giving it our all each time we hit the stage.

Friday's performance at Green River Community College called for nothing less. We performed 7 kahiko mele and then some of us performed with the featured group, Na Leo Pilimehana. Each of our kahiko had to do with animals. My favorite song we danced to was about a parrot. We wore skirts of many colors and had hats with lovely bows. I wish I could have gotten a picture of us all in our outfits. I'm sure it looked beautiful.

I was able to capture some pictures
and of some of the songs that we danced with Na Leo. Aunty Sweetie graced the stage and danced beautifully to Waikiki,

while other some of the other girls
danced to Pupu hinuhinu,
and while Na Leo's sang their hana hou song, they were joined by Okekai.
