Mexico...the pictures!

Our "lovely" school district has decided to give us mid-winter break. We get a whole week off after just being off for Winter Break in December and January and then getting another week off in April for Spring Break. I wish we didn't have it because it makes us go a whole extra week in June, when I would rather be off enjoying the nice weather.

Yet, if we get the time off I'm not going to waste it by any means. This break, my friend and co-worker Cassie headed down to Cabo San Lucas for sun and fun and that is exactly what had and did. We layed by the pool and soaked up some sun, we layed by the beach and soaked up more sun, we went to Lovers Beach and soaked up even more sun, we saw the famous Arch, we went to town and went shopping, we ate authentic Mexican food, we went out dancing at night and hit up as many ladies nights as we could. We had a fantastic time!!!

Waiting in the airport...we had breakfast and made our last phone calls. We even thought it would be fun to text our friends who were at work and staying in the drizzly weather.

We got settled into our hotel and freshened up then went to dinner. The city view at night.

Our first drink...it was a margarita after we listened to the spiel to buy a time share. We also got the tequila, a blanket, a glass bottom boat tour, breakfast, a wine and cheese sunset cruise (which we didn't end up taking because we thought it was the same as the glass bottom boat tour), and a tour of their newest hotel.

Our boat for the glass bottom boat tour. The glass bottom was about as big as 4 sunroofs put together.

The Arch from the Pacific side of the Ocean. Cabo San Lucas is located at the tip of the Baja California peninsula, right where the Pacific Ocean and the Sea of Cortes meet. The beaches on the Pacific Ocean side are non-swimming beaches because of huge rip tides. The beaches on the Sea of Cortes side are able to swim at.

The greatest job. These guys sit on the beach all day and are in charge of water activities that you might want to do. I rented a jet ski from them and went out for a half hour. It was a lot of fun. There were lots of waves and the sea was rough, so it was a lot of fun.

Our last night there we went to dinner at Mi Casa. It was muy deliciouso. I had tamales, sopapias, and a pina colada.

Before we left I wanted a few pictures of the view and me. (Like I didn't have enough already)

As we headed home the sun was setting and the sky looked amazing.
