Thoughts

I've had some thoughts running through my brain lately, but haven't been able to figure out how to blog about them. So I thought I would just throw them out here all gobbled together and then maybe they will make sense to me.

• After watching and listening with my class to the speeches and prayers given on Inauguration Day, I wondered how many people would be upset because on one day there was prayer in school. God was spoken about a lot throughout many of the people's speeches.
• The president is not just African-American, he is also Caucasian and raised in a Hawaiian household, how come all we talk about is him being black?
• In the future history books, how dark will his skin color be be depicted in pictures? He seems to be very lite-skinned, but will that be taken into account when his image is being imprinted into the books.
• Why do some people feel that even thought they have accomplished many things, they are still a failure because they haven't met society's goals that people measure others against?
• Why does the winter cause so many people to have the blues?
