This year I was lucky to get to spend Christmas with my family at my house. My mom and dad came down on Christmas Eve and spent the night. We went to church, had Chinese food at China Star and then I took them to my local bar to play some darts. We had a great time and met some very jovial people.
After that we came home had some cookies, played some cards, and opened one present each before we went to bed.
The morning brought new pajamas for me and a new card game and sweater for my dad.
Sakura cards...I sucked at it in the beginning, but I got better.
He was showing us that he was short and stout like a teapot.
After a relaxing morning and some monkey balls for breakfast, I got my hair braided and we headed up to my uncle and aunts for dinner with the cousins.
Leilani is getting so big and having her first beer already.
After dinner my mom and dad came back down for one more night of slumber party fun. I am so blessed to have such a loving family and for them to live so close. Plus I'm excited to do it all over again with my sister, bil, and leia when they come in on Wednesday.

Looks like so much fun! I can't wait until we are closer to home so we can go home and have some great fun with family. For now, we are just making our own family traditions.
Me too. I was just thinking that. If you were here, I for sure would have you and your family as part of my celebrations!
