Good Luck!

The minds of many children will be stretched today. It will be a cleaning out of all the cobwebs that grew over their brains this summer as they played video games, watched tv, and hopefully played outside. They will wake up earlier than the normal 9am of summer time wake up calls, shower, eat breakfast, and hopefully comb their hair before they make their way to school in the morning. While at school, they will re-learn how to hold a pencil, where the bathroom is, and who their friends will be for the next 180 days of school.

Their teacher's minds will also be cleaned off and polished up today as we all start with a new group of 20-30 kids in our room. Wondering who will follow the directions, who will give us a run for our money, will we have any criers or pant peers, who one will make us laugh, and who will make that first tear come to our eye.

It will be a crazy day for all of us, as we embark on this journey of 180 days. Together we will grow and change and become better people always giving our best and knowing that if we gave our best the first day that the next day we will be able to give even more.

Good, better, best
Never let it rest
Until your good
is better than
your best.
