Ho'olaule'a

We, Ke 'ala 'O Kamailelauli'ili'i and Manawaiopuna, will host a Ho'olaule'a this weekend, Saturday, July 12th at Auburn Performing Arts Center from 12 noon-8pm. There were will be many vendors, plate lunches, desserts, entertainment, and aloha. Our halau, as well as, Kaimikahu Hale O Hula from Arizona will perform.

Normally at the time of year we would be hosting our annual Mai Kahiki Mai, but it has been postponed after three of the participating halau informed us that they will not be able to participate.

Aside from that, one of our own haumana, was recently diagnosed with stage 4 breast cancer in early May. And on Monday evening, June 6th, Haunani Kaili lost her fight with cancer and decided to go home. She has left us and is now in a better place without pain.

We hope that you will all choose to join us this year for a wonderful celebration of our culture. Entrance at the door will be $5.

The hubby and I are going to try to make it out... I've been feeling homesick lately. :)
