Enjoyed the Weekend and Need Some Sleep

I had a super busy weekend and loved every minute of it, but right now my body is paying for it. I am tired and need to be in bed, but I still have to correct papers, eat dinner, get everything ready for tomorrow, and possibly make some phone calls to friends I haven't talked to in a long time.
The wedding was gorgeous and although we were super busy. It was a crazy, challenging, and wonderful experience all together. I had an amazing time working with Tanya and was so glad that Albert was with us the whole day to pick up the extra pieces. The families were great in including us throughout the whole experience and making sure that we were taken care of. I can't wait until Tanya and I are able to work on another wedding or just work together.

On Sunday I got some time to head up to Folklife Festival, before going on to Bellingham. Some of my hula family came as well and we watched 3 halaus located in the area. It was interesting to see other groups do the songs we've learned in different ways. After we did that we left, because it was so busy and went and ate in Chinatown. It was food that I wanted to eat all weekend, but didn't really know it. It was soooo good.

Later that night, I headed up for a wine party with some friends. We had a great time finishing off 3 1/2 bottles of wine out of the 8. It was great to see all of them and to hang out. This morning we went out to breakfast in downtown Bellingham.

The wonderful hostest and TanyaI headed home after breakfast and now sit in front of the computer catching up on everything and trying to convince myself that I need to grade some papers and get some work done. I don't think that it is going to happen;)
