Miss America Birthday

This year to celebrate my golden birthday, GA and I decided a special party was in order. It just so happened that Miss America fell right around the same time, so we combined the two and had a wonderful Miss America birthday party. It started off with pedicure and manicures in our evening wear at Lamour Spa Nails and then we headed back to watch the show.
We ate munchies, were matched with the top 16 girls and then made our sashes. As the contestants were eliminated you had to de-sash yourself. The wining girl got to take home a bouquet of roses and a crown. It just so happened that I picked Miss Michigan and she ended up winning, so on my birthday I became Miss America too. Good thing I am still a Miss and can enter the competition. Here are some photos of the event, hopefully there will be more to come.
