Relaxing

Today I took some time for myself, although I loved my vacation last week, I needed sometime to reacclimate myself to the West side of the state. I did morning mass, a hour and a half walk, and then did some catching up on my mini art journal challenge, while I watched a movie. I am really enjoying them and feel like they look better and better each time I do them. -confidential to r.kim: tell your mom that I am okay with my imperfection, as long as I don't look at them too long or at a later date.-

Week 9- inspiration found
-she is my best friend and does wonderful things for all who are apart of her life. she is the one who inspires me to be a better woman, mother, friend, sister, and teacher.

- on the back of this card is some journaling.
Week 10-note to self

Week 11- your initial

-the hand written words state: montana roots and the only cool word that starts with a "k" when playing that stupid game.
When I was in high school, youth group, and college, they always made us play the ridiculous "ice-breaker" game where you pair the first letter of your name with a word that starts with the same letter. I always hated that game, because the only word that started with a "k" that would work in the game for me was "kind." I hated being "kind" and not being able to pick a cooler word, until the day I came up with a new word. I thought I could be kick ass kili, "YES!" I thought to myself, I have come up with a way to circumvent this stupid game. As time passed before I was to play the game again, I came to realize that I probably shouldn't use the "a" word. That's when I decided I would use the word "kicken." To me it would always be kick ass, but for everyone else and the people that wanted that stupid game to stay PG I was kicken kili for the rest of the time I played that stupid game!
Week 12- i believe

-on the back: an envelope was attached to place a note in with journaling.
Week 13- what's on your mind

-the hand written words state: it's on my mind and about to start. 15 days to go.
Week 14- birds

-I hate birds and that is why I will not even give them the time of day on my card, although the prompt was birds.
Week 15- your parents

Tomorrow I hope to do some reading by the pool, if the sun decides to come back, wash some clothes, and play a round of golf. School is just around the corner and that makes me scared, but not scared enough to do work in my classroom, yet anyway.
