Home To Big Stone Gap

I was so excited when I found this book in the library. I had read the stories before (Big Stone Gap, Big Cherry Holler, and Milk Glass Moon) and was patiently awaiting for the next book in the series to come out.

Home to Big Stone Gap took me right back to the Appalachian mountain home of Ave Marie and Jack Mac. I was so enthralled with the story I couldn't put it down. The characters came right back to life and continued to evolve as the I read more and more of the story.

Adriana Trigiani is a masterful writer and does an amazing job of developing all the characters in her books as not to leave the reader asking for more. I hope that she will continue to write books in the Big Stone Gap series, because I will read them all. Plus it makes for good reading at the pool.
