3rd Times A Charm...Hopefully!

After over month of investigating different price and brands, as well as dragging a friend around in this department for over an hour I bought this pair. Not my favorite colors, but the ones that fit the best.

A size 11W, which is bigger than my normal size 10W (Hawaiian feet -thank you dad), but it was from a company that usually runs smaller and when I tried them on it was the end of the day with my swollen feet (that's when you are supposed to go shoe shopping-so that the shoe will fit when your feet swell-FYI) they fit and felt good. I took them to the gym, in the (early)morning, the following two days and had nothing but trouble. They were rubbing my heels and no longer fit my foot. I took them back with receipt in hand, the store took them back with no problem.

I then proceeded to purchase the same brand, same style, but better colors and smaller sized shoe.

A size10. They fit, yet were a little tight. I figured if I didn't lace them super tight they would be fine. I wore them around the house and stretched them out a bit, yet they were still feeling tight. I thought I was just return them, but I couldn't find the receipt, so I chalked it up as must be a sign to keep them. I wore them on an ill fated walk around the two golf courses and out to the newly built bridge. About a 3mile walk that took an hourish. As I was walking, I could feel the skin on my heels hurting and riping and I kept telling myself that I needed to turn around, but I kept going because I wanted the exercise. When I got home, my feet were torn up. I had two huge blisters on the back of my heels about 1 inch wide and 2 inches tall, one on each side of my pinky toe, and one on the inside of my right big toe. I was in slippers for two weeks and constantly applying bag balm to my foot.
I was sad and even madder thinking that I was going to have to keep them. I talked to my mom and she said I should take them back and just get store credit. DUH!! Why didn't I think of that? So I washed them down with a Clorox Disinfecting Wipe (Amazing product-takes away dirt and cherry stains) and returned them to the store. I got store credit and had no hassle.
I thought this time I need to find something new. I found a new shoe with new colors.

It was on sale. I started trying on sizes: 11- way too big, 10- to big,but maybe with sock would be okay 9- too small, 9 1/2 -would be what I needed, but they didn't have a pair. I returned later with socks, but the 10s were still too big. (I think the shoes was miss sized) I then went to the store, I had purchased my other two pairs from and found the shoe I was looking for and tried on a 9 1/2, but it was too small. I was about to leave sadly, but then found a 10 thinking maybe that would fit better than the other one. I tired it on with socks and it fit miraculously. I was so happy! I walked all around the shoe department. No rubbing or movement. I bought them. I am going to take them out tomorrow to test them out and then hopefully to the gym on Monday morning. I hope they work. Keep your fingers crossed.
