Random Samplings

There has been a lot going on lately with school ending and summer finally starting, I haven't found the time to blog let alone sit and do nothing...although we all know that isn't really how I roll. So here is another re-cap in the Week-in-Review.

• Last weekend my mom and I went over to Spokane for my sister's last shower. It was a good time, although I sucked it up with all the games. Oh well, I didn't want to win anyway;) We had a great time hanging out with her in-laws and doing a little garage saleing.
• Monday-I went to the gym and back to school to finish up some cleaning and then get ready for next year. It was an optional day- You could opt to come to school and get paid for cleaning your classroom or you could opt not and not get paid. I opted in the first time this year and got a lot done.
• Tuesday-I hit the gym again, then church, and then I came home and got started editing, and editing, and editing pictures for a little wedding I went to. I had a chiropractor appointment and then went to hula. Where we danced and danced and did a little sweating.
• Wednesday-was finally a lazy day. I took a walk, went to church and then watched movies. It was nice and relaxing. I did some hula practice and chatted with old friends.
• Thursday-I was on an interview committee to hire a new first grade teacher. There was tough competition, but a shining star came through...then there was just the painful process of waiting for her to find out she was going to be hired or not. S and I went to lunch and dessert. Yummmm. Then I had chiropractor and hula, where I did lots of sweating and lots of catching up when I found out that lots of moves had changed the week before when I was celebrating school being over. When I got home my bbf was here and I was in for one wild and crazy weekend that was non-stop.
• Sunday- I rested and read. I rested in my bed. I rested by the pool. I rested in the pool. I rested on the chaise long (aka chaise lounge) Then I did some laundry, had some dinner, and now I am going to do some more reading. (Nothing educational of course, although pretty soon with my new class, that is all I will be doing.)
