St. Patrick

It's the obligatory day for all who are Irish and all who think they are Irish to drink and be merry....it's also time for some hijinks and blarney. Last year I celebrated by having Mexican with Becker whereas this year I had Mexican with GA. I really need to make sure my holidays aren't getting mixed up. I will be heading out tonight for some green beer though. One year I hope to be in Chicago, so I can see this happen for real.

  • This week was pretty easy schoolwise because the kids were just there for half the day and there were 6-8 less of them. They were all getting sick. I conferenced with 23 of my 28 parents and everything went well...although sometimes I didn't feel I had the right answer.

  • I finally lost 10 pounds with the new diet and now will try to continue to lose more. It's pretty easy, but the part I struggle with is the mindset of being hungry over my tummy being really hungry.

  • I reconnected with friends this weekend, that I hadn't seen in a long time and had a really good time. It was nice to see them again and get re-energized about life and faith.

  • Lent is going well. No mistakes so far, but this year is a lot more relaxed than years past, so in that instance it might be easier. Who knows.

Well I hope you all had great weeks.
