Movie Reviews

With the continuing snow, I have had time on my hands to watch some more movies. So her are my reviews.
You, Me, and Dupree - When deciding to rent this movie, I couldn't decide if I had already seen it or if it was just the previews that I had seen. I wish I would have gone with the fact that I had already seen it because there were some funny parts to it. I felt that in watching the previews I had seen the movie.
Black Dalhia- This movie had intrigue and suspense, but not really for me. It was interesting to watch the added feature at the end, because the movie was based on a real event, but that was the best part. It was nice to see Josh Hartnet acting again, but I wish he would have picked a better movie to be in.
World Trade Center- Although a movie you already knew the ending to, it was a good watch. For me it brought back all the emotions of that day and time in my life. It was also great to watch with someone who I didn't know then, because it sparked great conversation about where I was, what I was doing.
Cars- Great flick. I enjoyed even though I did take a small cat nap during it. (Wasn't because I didn't like the movie-it was late when I watched it.)
The Wicker Man- Started watching it at night, but got scared and had to finish it this morning. Although somewhat creepy and scary in some instances, the movie over all dragged. The point took forever to materialize.
The Holiday- I went and watched a movie in the theater and I enjoyed it immensely. I read the book that it was based on and it pretty much follows along. If you go and see it without reading the book before. You aren't missing anything. I did love this movie and all the actors in it. Go and see it or wait till it comes out in video.
