Funny Snowy Moments

They could only happen with the wonderful help of the snow, because if there was no snow it would just make me seem stupid.

• Yesterday I thought I could do 2 loads of laundry, run to the grocery and video store, shower, dress, and leave for a movie at 11:45. It was 10:40. Needless to say I couldn't decide on a videos, the grocery store was slow, and when I got back it was 11:19. I moved my laundry to the drier, took a shower, ate breakfast, and got my laundry out at noon and threw it in the back of my car because everyone thought it would was a good idea to do laundry yesterday. I hoped the roads were safe and I could cruise up to Bellevue for a noon thirtyish movie. I got stuck behind a slow guy. When I got to Bellevue, I realized I gave my friend directions to the wrong theatre. The parking lot I was going to park in was full, so I drove around the block and parked in the supposedly "full" lot and then walked to the theater. I got there at 12:45. No sight of my friend, left her a message about seeing the movie and if she was around after we could pick up lunch. Went into the theater and sat down. I was a little late, but was relieved to have made it. When I caught my breath, I looked to my left and there was my friend sitting 5 seats away from me. Come to find out she was also late and walked in 5 min before me.
• After arriving home from sitting in traffic for an hour, thanks to my friend telling me, "It's a holiday, there won't be traffic." I piled all my laundry into my hands and carried it in. I dropped a sock right by my door, but picked it up and pulled my screen door shut. The only problem was that I pulled it a little to hard and it went past the spot of stopping and trapped me inside my house. It wouldn't budge. I was stuck! Not that it mattered, because I was already in for the night and I figured I could figure something out the following morning.
• This morning I got the call of school starting 2 hours late and went back to bed. J called at 8ish and wanted me to come to school with her early. I thought about it and ended up getting up, showering, and getting 1/2 way dressed (jeans and underwear on), then she called back. School was cancelled. I was pissed. I had picked out a cute outfit, well so far. She then told me to look outside and I realized it was snowing again. Will we ever catch a break?
• Later in the morning, I decided to try and get myself out of my house. My windows were dirty and I thought I should clean them, because it was hard to see the snow falling. I ended up kicking my door in some opportune places and it finally budged. Cleaned my windows and went back inside.
• Later on when I was eating breakfast, my neighbor came by and was shoveling the walk. He was doing a pretty good job, so I thought I would tell him. I opened the door and engaged in conversation with him. He said he needed some exercise. The next thing I thought he said was, "but I fell down over there." What he really said was, "I found a bra over there." I looked past him onto my iron posts and there was my bra. He found it under the snow when he was shoveling. I was pretty embarrassed, but I went over and got it, finished the conversation and then went inside.

All this couldn't have happened without snow.
