A Holiday Rhyme

The presents are all opened and our bellies are all filled, so I guess that means it's over until we see the bill.

The day was filled with laughter and stories of old. Sometimes the stories shared a secret, that we had never been told.

Games were played and knowledge learned until dessert came out. Who would have known that not winning could make someone pout.

So as I climb, into my bed, I'm ready to sleep tight. I'm glad I have my family and friends to wish me all a good night.
