And Winter Hasn't Even Started Yet!

The weather in the Pacific Northwest has gone crazy again. Late Thursday night into early Friday morning we were hit with windstorm that clocked winds at Sea-Tac at 69mph at 1am Friday. Up in the mountains wind gusts made it up to 100+. Schools were cancelled (YES!-yet now we are only 3 days away from going to school in July) and many lost power all over the sound. According to KIROtv, many customers will not have power again for 3 days to a week. My parents and many of my friends are apart of that group. I, on the other hand, was lucky and have had power the whole time, which has meant that my house has been full of people without. It has been a good time of hanging out, playing games, getting gas, and trying to wrap presents secretly so the people here don't see what they are getting.
In looking at all the pictures that have been on the web and through a slideshow at KING5, I found this picture:

It is of an apartment complex that I was looking into moving into. It 's in Milton and surrounded by trees, which isn't so good when there are big wind storms like we experienced. This is all that happened here.

My golf course lost 1 full tree and some branches from others. The regular course lost 3 trees, that I could see from the road and many branches.
