Week-in-Review

I survived the painting and the cookie party and actually made and into the shower before I was completely grossed out. My kids did a really nice job of painting and making sure the paint stayed on the paper and not on the floor or all over them. There was only one paper that hit the ground upside down and most of the paint came right up off the floor, yet I am still finding paint in other places that never had paint in the first place.
The week on the whole went by slow, but I knew it would because I was excited about my weekend. There was lots of fun stuff going on and a couple of lame things. Friday, I was going to watch my cousin play some football, but the game was cancelled (LAME!). Saturday, I worked out and then finished up my costume for the party (good!) I also went to an auto show for the first time (good!) It was interesting looking at all the new cars and all the cars I couldn't afford. Yaks for lunch (mmmmm, manapua!) and then onto the Great Pumpkin massacre. I was a Pirate and took to massacring like a baby does to water, although I needed some time to prepare and massage my pumpkin to make sure he came out just right. He turned out great and was the talk of the party, although it wasn't for his scariness or anything like that. Today I will look into finishing grades and then my friend Nicole is coming over and we are going to live it up Kent style, whatever that may mean.
