As we drove home, I began to think more and more about how this could have been messed up and what really happened. Once I got home, I was able to put some concrete answers together and now realize it was a comedy of errors, not just one, yet it all turned out well to some extent.
- The bride sent an email early on with her wedding date as the 19th of August and I put it on my calendar.
- My dad conviently miss placed their wedding invitation, so I received it only weeks before the wedding.
- When I finally got the invite, I didn't thoroughly read it because I thought I already knew the date and I just returned the response card because it was due on the 29th of July and that was the day I got the invitation.
- Last weekend, I was gone on the Girls Retreat. One of the girls that was suppose to come ended up getting asked to step in to do photography for a wedding that another friend was djaying.
- The girl posted pics of the wedding on her website Viper's World and I thought, oh how cute.
- One of the pics had a girl I thought that looked familiar in it, but I just let it go, because I knew that the wedding was this weekend.
- Yet I though to myself when I was looking at the pictures, wouldn't it be funny if this was the wedding I was supposed to go to but got the weekends wrong and ended up missing it.
- I convinced myself I was wrong and that the wedding was today, yet in the long run I really was wrong. My 2 other friends had played intrigal parts in the wedding that I was supposed to be at and now all I will get to do is see the pictures from it.
