Frustration

Tonight I was on the war path and it didn't matter who was in my way...we are learning a new song in hula and it is with a uli uli. It is hard. You have to rattle and tap until you are blue in the face and still make sure that you are doing the feet movement. I couldn't seem to get it right and Kumu had us doing it over and over again and the more we did it the more I messed up and the more I messed up the more frustrated I got. I was so done! Put a fork in me and then he said, one more time. I was just ready to walk out, but I didn't. I sucked it up.
He finally had us put our uli uli down and we did our chant that we had been working on, that people still don't know. Then they are copying and that gets frustrating and at that point my mind was else where, so I was messing up which means everyone else was messing up, so needless to say hula wasn't much fun today and I am not really looking forward to Thursday. I do know though that I am going to do some practicing tomorrow and Thursday, so I am not totally frustrated again.
