Northwest Afternoon

My halau went down to Northwest Afternoon on Tuesday to tape a Public Service Announcement for Mai Kahiki Mai, our hula competition. Five girls danced and Kumu (hula instructor) talked. We had a lot of fun, although the show we taped for wasn't to fun and exciting. It had Gary Ridgeway's Defense Attorney. He talked about Gary and his new book. So it was a bit of a downer. On the upside, we had a lot of fun laughing and joking and then we had lunch at Ocean City. It was good eats, although if you order a meal it comes in a glass pie pan, enough to feed four or five people. We even got to take a picture on the set. That is on my hula sisters camera, so we will have to wait for that one, but here is one from right outside the studio.
