Spring Break Update
So I thought I would add things to the list as things happen, so I don't forget what happened during the week. So thus far, this is what I have done:- Hula Camp- see previous entry
- Drove to Spokane- the trip was quick (4 hours) with two eventful bathroom breaks. I didn't think I would make it in time, but I was able to run fast enough to the first one and there were two at the second place I went to.
- Dad's birthday- We celebrated at The Onion and my dad was sung to and he pretended to be a peacock to help the song along. (pics to come later)
- Family Time- We had dinner at Mel Jrs. He cooked us Teriyaki Burgers and because everyone only wanted one, he made them "worth our time."
- My God Family and I went to Breakfast and then my beautiful God Sister and I took some pictures at a haunted church and while riding the Gondolas. There is also big news from my God brother Owen. If you want to know you can check out his "your space" account.
- I booked a trip to Colorado for a wedding. NO, it is not mine, but theirs. Remember two years ago, AM and I went down to visit her friend. Now he is getting married and she got invited and I get to go with her because she was told she couldn't bring a boy.
- I went bowling with my cousin and my cousin-in-law after practicing hula. Not such a good plan, I was sore and hurting from hula so my game suffered. I missed 100 the first game, although I finished strong with two strikes in the tenth frame and then came away with a tie on the second game with 112.
- Went to church and had dinner with an "old friend" tonight. It was a good time living it up in my 20's and his post 20's. I can't believe that we have known each other for 10 years now. It seems like it was just yesterday we were running around CWU and he was rescuing me from being lost in the woods.
- The Franks came over from the West Side and we all went to dinner to celebrate my cousins 15th birthday and then went to see the Spokane Shock play some arena football. I had a good time. It was only a little football though and lots of show. The team is now 3-0.
- Saw AM and went to Easter Mass with her and her mom. They are all doing well, if you wanted to know. AM is still in the same place, doing the same thing, getting fit for the summer and our traveling adventures.
- The family all had dinner at my sisters house. I am so full!
- We hunted easter eggs inside and out with the youngest kid starting at 3 and the oldest at 54.
- I drove home and crashed in my bed only to wake up in time to head for school.
