Let it snow...let it snow....

...so we can we have 2 hour late start at school!!! Not a cancelled day because then we have to
make it up.

It is snowing like crazy tonight and as I continue to watch it the more I wish that I was in the Bahamas laying on a beach in my swimsuit soaking up the rays and reading a book. I also remember all the other times it has snowed and all the fun that ensues from it. For instance: it snowed so much one year I was in college we had snow from October till April. That year, to get back into my college house in January, my roommates, parents, and I had to form a line to pass all of our belongings back into the house because nothing had been shoveled and the snow was up to our thighs. Wicked games of Fat Boy Football would commence after the first snowfall of each year. All the hot chocolate and marshmallows that were consumed. The snowball fights outside and INside the houses. Going sledding. Walking all over town to see the boys we liked and getting pelted by snowballs by the boys we hated. Making snow angels. Snow forts. Driving in the snow for the first time in someone else's truck, after a bit too much egg nog.
Although I really don't like snow, it has made for some very fun and fond memories.
