Building my blanket

I am enjoying my "Winter Break" way too much. I have found it a great time to reconnect with old friends and time to help cultivate new friendships that have been started. This time with friends has helped me to remember who I was, who I have become, and all the help I needed along the way. These friends have helped to shape and mold me into the person that I am today. Without them, who knows where I would be and even who I would be. Thanks to all of you for everything that you have done for me. Thank you for touching my life and making it better. I am so much better for having each and everyone of you in my life. You have made me a better woman. You believed in me when I was ready to stop. You picked me up when I fell down. You wiped my tears and told me it could only get better. You made me laugh. You made me push myself to attain my goals. You challenged me. You walked beside me when I needed support. You guided me through rough waters. You comforted me. You kept me protected from the outside world.
Each one of you are a piece in my blanket that I have been sewing for years. It continues to grow and grow as new friends come into my life. It is a blanket that that does all the things above and more. Thank you all for being a part of my blanket and my friend.
